About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a casual CPAP Therapist to join our Therapy Centre. You will thrive in a busy, patient-first environment providing client-focused care to clients completing sleep studies. The CPAP Therapist works in collaboration with Sleep Technicians, Clinical Care providers, Clinicians to provide direct patient care.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Providing CPAP care to patients according to a Physician's prescription
  • Perform education for patients on all aspects of CPAP treatment
  • Provide technical troubleshooting of CPAP problems experienced by patients on, or new to, CPAP treatment
  • Liaise with administration staff regarding booking of CPAP patients.
  • Patient billing, payments and updating of files
  • Ordering and unpacking stock
  • Sterilising and cleaning equipment
  • General administrative duties

Qualifications/Skills/Certification

A degree in biomedical science/clinical background preferable.

  • Willingness to learn new skills and adaptable
  • Professional presentation and ‘can do’ approach.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, carers, other care providers, hospital clinicians, immediate team members and other stakeholders
