The group investigates the amount, risk factors and burden of respiratory disease. The program covers a number of areas including impact of air quality on respiratory health, primary prevention of asthma, a multicentre project to quantify COPD in the Australian community and we are also working in the areas of tuberculosis treatment and case finding.
