Contract terms: Three years
Hours of work: Full-time
Commencement: ASAP
Salary and Benefits: $65,000-$75,000 plus superannuation and salary packaging
Location: Glebe, Sydney 

The Woolcock Institute of Medical Research, one of the world’s leading respiratory and sleep research institutes, seeks an outstanding, goal-oriented achiever with excellent communication skills to lead and manage the Institute’s philanthropic fundraising initiates. This is a senior position and one that is vital to the Woolcock achieving its future vision.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a motivated individual who is passionate about developing long-term relationships with donors and potential donors and who will make philanthropy flourish at the Woolcock. While the Woolcock is an established international world-class research facility, our development portfolio is in a phase of expansion. This is a rare opportunity for a dynamic ‘people’ person who enjoys achieving clearly defined financial goals and who is keen to make a difference in a dynamic research environment.  

Some of your duties may include:

•    Working with the DoD, CEO and Board to identify Chairman’s Circle and major gift prospects
•    With the DoD, developing cultivation plans for major gift patrons
•    Engaging the appropriate board and executive team members in major gift solicitations
